Shipping Policies

Live shipping rates are used for all items that are eligible for shipping.

All items shipped will be shipped via Fedex. Items shipped from our store will ship within 1-2 business days and are typically delivered in 3-5 business days.
Items shipped directly from the manufacturer are typically shipped within 2-3 business days and delivered in 4-8 business days. Special order items can take 10 days to 2 weeks or more depending on the item.

Oversize Shipping Charges

A small percentage of our large and/or heavy items require oversized shipping charges. Oversize charges are additional and are listed on applicable products on the catalog page and on this website.

Additional Shipping Charges

Some heavy or large items have additional shipping and handling charges. On select products, additional shipping and handling charges are noted on the product information pages and will be noted in your shopping basket. Please note that oversize items may be very expensive to ship via an expedited ship method. Additionally, some heavy or large items are only available for in-store pickup. Those items are noted in your shopping cart.

Free In-Store Pickup

You may choose to have your order shipped to The Village Mercantile Home & Farm Store in Corrales, New Mexico for free. You will be contacted when your order is available for pick up. Please wait until you are notified that your order is ready to be picked up, and bring a copy of your receipt or invoice and a photo ID when picking up your order. 

International Shipping & Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii

At this time we are unable to ship internationally or to Alaska and Hawaii.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, immediately contact our customer service department at 1-505-897-9328 or email at info@thevillagemercatile.com.

Tracking your Package

You will receive a ship confirmation email when your order ships. The email will include your tracking number. If you have questions about your order please email us at orders@thevillagemercantile.com.

Backordered Items

If you have an item on backorder, you can substitute or cancel at any time. Your items placed on backorder will not be billed until the items are shipped. If your order necessitates split shipping you will be contacted with a new shipping quote.

Undeliverable Packages

We will contact you to correct the shipping address. Additional shipping charges may apply if you entered the wrong delivery address.
