PLEASE READ ENTIRE JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING:
* MUST have a current & valid NM Driver’s License
* MUST have a CLEAN driving record - a 2 year Motor Vehicle Record is required
* 2 years min experience driving
* Must be at least 23 years old on the date of hire.
* MUST pass a pre-employment drug screening as well as on-going and random screenings.
* Must be available to work all hours that the store is open including weekends and some holidays.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner locally and state-wide.
* Load and unload vehicle - including the ability to lift and carry items sometimes weighing more than 100+ pounds on a repetitive basis
* Collect on unpaid orders and shipments
* Inspect and monitor vehicle - a pride of ownership mentality preferred
* Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials being loaded and delivered
* Other duties as deemed necessary
Qualifications:
* Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields
* Clean driving record
* Ability to handle physical workload
* Deadline-oriented
Education & Experience:
* High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
* MUST have a current & valid NM Driver’s License
* MUST have a CLEAN driving record
* 2 years min experience driving.
* Must be at least 23 years old on the date of hire.
Other Skills & Abilities:
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Work effectively with others in a team based environment.
• Excellent math, organization and time management skills.
• Schedule flexibility is a requirement of this position; must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required. Including some overtime.
• Very strong attention to detail.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* A pre-employment background check will be conducted.
* Position is subject to pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing
Language Skills
Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees at all times.
Must be able to understand and demonstrate all policies, procedures, instructions, rules and regulations, including all safety training and safety information, associated with this position in English. In addition, the employee must be able, on a regular basis, to provide reports, presentations, information, and communications in English.
